Billy
I got Billy (aka Bob) , when he was 11 weeks old. I was catching the early train to work in Mittagong at the time and would stop by every morning to visit this adorable brown puppy before work…he was at the old pet shop in town.
This happened for weeks.. my teenage heart knew he was the one.. as soon as I got my tax return, I signed the papers and Billy came home with me. Was the best day of my life. He has been all over Australia with me. He loved the dog on the tucker box, hiking, the snow, the beach, the country, and farm life. His favourite treat was nuggets & a soft serve cone 🍦
Billy was so beautiful, he would just sit with me and be content, as was I.
He was 11 years young when I lost him to a sudden illness. I will be forever shattered and heartbroken, it’s been 6 months without him now and it’s not getting easier, only harder.
Billy now has a star named after him 🌟
He will forever live in my heart. X
Catch
Catch was a Border Collie that came to me as a rescue off of a sheep property. Had I not taken her, I have little doubt a bullet would’ve been her end. Catch went from a lowly and shy sheep dog reject with no socialisation, manners, or training to one of the top agility dogs in the country, earning all the top titles and a finalist in multiple National Agility competitions at the Masters level. Her absolute passion in life was agility, and she was trialing competitively up to 14 years old! She also became an incredibly gifted sheepdog in the end.
But most of all, this dog was full of heart. Catch was so intelligent and intuitive and would keep going under any conditions. She was a one-in-a-million and will always be missed.
