With the winter firmly settled in consider your pets and what their needs are during the bleak winter conditions. Keep your pet well exercised to prevent weight gain and have fresh water available as indoor heating can dehydrate them. Provide suitable warm beds whether they sleep indoors or out. Make sure they have cozy, thicker beds and more pillows to snuggle into. Keep those winter coats groomed with regular brushing for both cats and dogs, and make sure their teeth are brushed regularly. Good health makes for a happy pet.
